I saw this peacock in my yard with the sun rays falling on it. His tail feathers were glowing. I had no time to waste and immediately pulled out my phone to shoot

Fact: The colours in the peacock tail are not pigment colours. They are structural colours, produced by an optical effect called thin-film interference.
