Spent some time at the Mercure Hotel, Deira, Dubai. It has that metropolitan feeling, similar to something one would find in New York City. Very reasonable, well laid out and non-pretentious. My kind of style.
With digital keys, welcoming staff & a solid location [adjacent to the Metro Green Line's Gold Souq Station, I'll definitely be back here soon.
