Nachchimale is the most famous place in Ingiriya region. This place is a very beautiful bathing pier in Nachchimale Valley (Nambapana Canal). This place can be reached by going about 1 mile on Padukka (Colombo) road from Ingiriya town and 1 ½ miles on Keenagahawila road southwards from Maha Ingiriya junction and passing Madakada Aranya Senasanaya road. This is a very beautiful stream with beautiful waterfalls and rocky streams full of clear water. Thousands of local and foreign tourists come every day to enjoy the waters of these streams.
