How to improve night time video quality

Happy new year everyone!

Can anyone guide me best technics of video shooting during the night..since I am desperate to learn more.

I've recently shot some video of NY fireworks however it hasn't come out too clear..

Do comment where have I gone wrong or what is missing..

Try playing with the manual mode. Reduce ISO and shutter to make images darker.

Thanks!! I shall use the PRO mode for better picture quality...is it applicable for vidoes too?

Can't post video on here but here is a snippet of what I captured at the SZHF at New Years. You can see the different levels of exposure and ISO between the two.
