Galaxy GalleryAs the Subject Line says: How do I Disable Samsung Gallery Auto-Tagging Auto-Tag function?
On my fully-updated Samsung Galaxy Note9 128GB SSD, I have >100,000 multimedia items (photos, videos, audios, html, text files). The image processing, object identification workload, and database overhead (CPU, RAM, Storage burdens) are not zero.
I do not use or want the automatically applied tags and instead manually use the Add Tags feature within the Samsung Gallery software.
The phone really draaaaagggggsss about 90% of the time, even using the lowest screen resolution and maximum CPU performance options, with no other software (just Samsung Gallery or "My Files" viewers) running.
Examples:
[A] - In Gallery, up to a full second to (1) open a small photo (100-500 KB), swipe UP to view IMAGE-1 file details and tags, swipe DOWN, swipe LEFT/RIGHT to the next photo, and swipe UP to view IMAGE-2 file details.
[B] - On a fresh phone reboot, >10 seconds for a 50KB image downloaded via Firefox to appear in the Samsung Gallery or My Files (file explorer) software, when nothing but Firefox (1 tab) and Samsung Gallery (or My Files) are open.
Thanks for any help the community can provide! :)
