The emission stacks in the backdrop are part of the Kota's first ever Thermal Power Plant unit, runing for over four decades. With solar energy portfolio in India reaching close to 200 GW in coming years, many of these units have turned from being the main energy source to merely compensating or the energy requirement not fulfilled by the Solar plants during the night time.
