The Indian dominos cockroach also known as chess cockroach belongs to one of the most primitive family of cockroaches.
The Indian dominos cockroach is having seven dots and it is found in dry shrub forest of southern India. It is the only therean found from shrub forest of India.
It is quite prominent size is approximately 30mm. It mimic the six spot ground beetle to save it self from predators.
Although its status is of least concern but its population is decreasing so we need to conserve this beautiful insect, it is a unique creature.
