No, I wont add this to a jam, jelly or marmalade. According to information recieved, these are poisonous. When planted, these will be a new strain of a common household vegetable.

I assume from your answer you are from either the USA or Mexico. I am in South Africa. I had to search what a tomatillo is as I have never found that here. A tomatillo apparently grows in a husk, much like gooseberries.
This is indeed a "fruit", but the fruit in my image can not be eaten as it is poisonous. It does however carry seeds of a common and very versatile household vegatable.
