Last night, I had the incredible privilege of attending an exclusive Iftar hosted by the Samsung UAE team at Al Hadheera Restaurant in the breathtaking Bab Al Shams Desert Resort. It was an evening that beautifully captured the essence of Ramadan, blending tradition, culture, and technology in the most memorable way.
From the moment we arrived, the desert’s golden hues and the resort’s traditional Arabian architecture created an enchanting backdrop for the evening. The warm hospitality and attention to detail from the Samsung team set the tone for an unforgettable experience.
A Feast to Remember
The Iftar spread was nothing short of spectacular—a true celebration of Arabian cuisine and so much delicious foods.
Cultural Immersion and Stargazing
But the evening wasn’t just about the food—it was an immersive cultural experience.
The soulful melodies of live Oud music created a calming atmosphere.
A Tanoura dance performance mesmerized us with its vibrant colors and rhythmic spinning.
The highlight of the night was a special stargazing session with the Dubai Astronomy Group. Professional telescopes were set up, allowing us to view Jupiter and its moons up close. The guides shared fascinating insights about stars and constellations, weaving in stories from ancient Arabic traditions. It was captivating to hear how stars have shaped navigation and storytelling in the region’s history.
Exciting Photo Competition
Adding to the excitement, Samsung organized a photo competition during the event, encouraging everyone to capture the magic of the night. The atmosphere was electric as everyone tried to get the perfect shot under the starry sky using their Galaxy phones.
I was thrilled to see Maqbul win the award for the best photo—a well-deserved win! His incredible shot earned him the latest Galaxy S25 Ultra as a prize from Samsung. It was inspiring to see so much creativity and talent on display.

Throughout the event, I was able to take multiple photos capturing the beauty of the evening—from the stunning desert sunset to the mesmerizing Tanoura dance and the breathtaking night sky during stargazing. I’m excited to share these shots with you all.
Connecting with Fellow Samsung Members
One of the most rewarding parts of the evening was the opportunity to meet so many fellow Samsung Members in one place. This was the best meetup till date.
We shared our passion for all things tech and had some incredible conversations about the latest innovations from Samsung.
