Dear Samsung Team,
I would like to provide feedback regarding the current functionality of the Samsung Gallery app, specifically concerning privacy and album management.
At present, the Gallery application lacks the ability to:
Lock multiple albums simultaneously
Hide album names when albums are locked
Apply privacy controls at the album level in a scalable and efficient way
This creates a significant usability issue. Users who manage a large number of albums are forced to handle privacy actions manually and individually, which is time-consuming and inconsistent with modern UX standards.
More importantly, even when attempting to protect content, album names remain visible. This undermines user privacy, as sensitive or personal information can still be inferred from album titles alone.
While Secure Folder exists as an alternative, it does not replace the need for integrated, flexible privacy controls within the Gallery itself.
