Z-Flip screen scratch

A couple of hours ago I tried to flip it open with one hand by wedging my thumb in between the screens and flip it open. I immediately regretted it as I kinda dented the screen a teeny tiny bit and it was visible. But now I'm looking at it again and it has dissapeared! Does the screen actually self heal like memory foam or something ? The scratch is actually gone and I'm delightfully surprised! Won't be flicking it open any time soon that's for sure

There is nothing in the screen like memory foam. If there is a dent it will be there for ever. Even a minor dent with finger nail.

No idea how your device display recovered.

I know it doesn't, that's why I'm so puzzled and surprised. To be fair it was a light and minor dent. But I swear it did recover. Very weird.

If it was as you said a "teeny tiny" DENT then maybe it didn't really made any serious distortion to the screen. But if you are going to refer to it as a SCRATCH, no matter how "teeny tiny" it will surely be visible.
