3-4 Years back they had really good trade in programs. It was actually worth upgrading every 1-2 years. Now their resale value is really bad. Even Samsung themselves on its own website values their phones at 1/3rd the cost just 4-5 months after release.Fold 4 to upgrade to S23 ultra gets only 2130 aed. A phone that released for 6799 aed. Its like one of those cheap discount brands now. Launch expensive and 1-2 months later you can buy it at 50 to 60 percent of its value.Guess it's time to change to an iPhone or a cheaper android that won't lose value the same way. Samsung doesn't respect its own brand value. Deeply saddened by their middle east strategy for trade ins.
Samuang now days only focusing on new device sale, that price dosent matter, they belive whatever price they put people will buy. If you a bought a device then they dont want us. Resale value is patethic.
