I can't see rich communication service under more network settings therefore i don't have RCS enabled in samsung messages. I had to use google messages to enable RCS. Does anyone know a fix for this ?

Hello, 
If there is a problem with activation, please see the following:
In general it depends on the network operator.
Check Chat Features:
Open the Messages app - Three dots at the top or more - Settings - Chat features - Check the status of chat features.

All users participating in the conversation must activate the chat features
Check the data connection.
Make sure that both parties (your device and the other party's device) are using the latest version of the application.
Make sure that the application is the default application for sending messages (during settings - applications - three dots at the top of the page - default applications - or Default apps and choose message applications or SMS apps and choose the application.

Kindly note this feature depends as well on the network operator not the device, If there is a problem with activation, please see the following:

Hi, thanks for the detailed response . Please check my responses below :
1- my network operator is Etisalat UAE which have this feature enabled (saw it on several S22 phones with my friends)

2- i don't have the chat feature option in my phone it's hidden.

Hello,

 

Please submit an error report to the technical team via Samsung members app > get help page > error reports section.

Choose one of the categories, and type the issue that you're facing to them, but make sure to send your device's logs.

To send the device logs, please follow the below:

Press and hold Samsung members Icon > Then tap on Error reports > Select category of your report > Make sure that "Send Log Data" is selected to help resolve your inquire > Describe your problem in details > Change the frequency to whatever you prefer > Then send it.

Goof morning, all of the above done several times but chat feature isn't there to choose! My operator have this feature & several of my friends have it on S22 same operator on stock messaging app. On the Z Fold 4 it's not showing. Is it a bug as i have dual sim enabled ? Thanks
