I paid a great sum of money for this phone, and I find it completely unacceptable that the inner screen protector is peeling off. At first, I thought it was because I'm in Florida, maybe Samsung failed to test their adhesives in proper temperature and humidity ranges...

I was disappointed to discover that Samsung is apparently aware of this issue and is choosing to be quietly unhelpful about it. Others I have seen with this issue have been forced to pay out of pocket to repair an obvious device malfunction which is conveniently not covered by the warranty.

This is the worst impression of Samsung I have ever had, owning several Samsung products and having previously considered them a very good company. There is no way I am paying this company a dime to try and correct what they failed to do properly in the first place.

To my fellow customers, do not invest in Samsung products, because they will not stand by them when you have a problem they should have known about (and do know about in this case, continuing to sell the phones and selling screen protectors to those same customers a year later...)

To Samsung, you should not underestimate the impact on your brand that early adopters who buy your premium products will have, when the average consumer asks for brand recommendations, from televisions to washing machines. I will not be recommending anything from Samsung in the foreseeable future.

I am going to try taking off the screen protector entirely, because I have heard that this malfunctioning screen protector is a threat to the screen itself due to the extra pressure inside the case. Samsung recommends not leaving your inner screen without a protector, but the alternative seems to be buying a new piece of plastic every month or two. I have not heard good things from those who got new screen protectors from official service centers.

If you are still in the US, you may try hopping into a Samsung store to replace it. It should not cost more than 20 usd.

Alternatively, you can get good quality protectors from Amazon but need some research.

I have replaced it after one and half year of buying the fold 4 but second screen protector didn't work on it and started pealing itself, so i totally removed it and now inside screen is much better than before, no need of screen protector for inside screen.

With all due respect, I had the same issues.. although I had an additional coverage by samsung +.. I was devastated by overthinking how much it would cost to just replace my screen guard for the inner screen. Well I am in dubai, and I had an idea a folding phone would be expensive to maintain. So I already had got the extended warranty as for my older s21 ultra & my fold, yes samsung did ask me to pay an amount of aed 575 I guess, but they did give me a replacement phone for the 1.5 week my phone was under maintenance, and hey I was almost about to change my phone brand (definitely not iphone). You buy a 'Rolls' u gotta get it maintained.. although I still feel I paid after getting insurance, I am OK with it but I feel my next phone will be the next ultra or let's see..
