5ghz wifi

I have a fold 2 (tmb) f916u1

I have a problem with 5ghz wifi

When i try to make a hotspot with 5ghz the toggle goes back to off

And when connecting to 5ghz its keeps disconnecting except when i disable uwb

The problems started since updating to oneui 4.1 (before it was working fine)

I am now on one ui 5.1 and still the problem exist

I tried the following solutions with no succes

1 restart the phone

2 hardware acceleration in developer options

3 reset network connection

4 wipe cache

5 wipe data

6 update the phone several times

7 airplane mode and switch on/off

I really need some help because i need 5ghz hotspot

Hi Asil, for first problem about hotspot try the following

1- Open Settings > General Management > Reset. If you don't see these options, open Settings > System > Reset options.

2- Tap Reset network Settings > Reset settings. For some models, you may need to tap Reset Wi-Fi, mobile & Bluetooth > Reset settings.

2nd solution if this didn't work

1- Open the Settings app on your phone.

2- Select Connection & sharing > Personal hotspot in Settings.

3- Turn off the Automatically turn off personal hotspot toggle.

Make sure your DATA SAVER MODE is disabled

Open Samsung Members Application > Get help > Send Feedback > Error report

I tried 3 tp link routers and 1 d link

Some users are experiencing issues with 5Ghz wifi and have already reported it to Samsung. We hope that the next update will fix this issue.
