Hope everyone is impressed with the new devices announced during the unpacked. Let us have a closer look at the Galaxy Z Flip 4.
Samsung announced the Galaxy Z Flip 4 last Wednesday during its Unpacked event. The Z Flip 4 has new software that takes advantage of its foldable design, improved cameras with better low-light photography, and a bigger battery.
The Z Flip 4's cover screen is also getting a few new additions. You'll be able to send quick replies to text messages, make phone calls and take portrait mode photos from the outer display. The improved flex mode now supports more apps and can provide a very impressive user experience.
It'll run on Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 processor, a slightly upgraded version of the chip that powers the Galaxy S22 lineup. Although the main camera resolution is the same as it was in the Z Flip 3 (12-megapixel wide and ultrawide lenses), the Z Flip 4 inherits the Galaxy S22's improved nighttime photography. That means it will have a brighter wide lens and larger pixel size, in addition, to support for portrait mode photos in the dark. The device also has a 10MP hole punch front-facing camera which is also good at taking night shots. As always, the OIS combined with AI will produce the best quality shots in almost all lighting conditions. The Z Flip 4's battery size is also getting an increase to 3,700-mAh capacity compared to its predecessor's 3,300-mAh battery.
The Z Flip 4's 6.7" interior display is 45% more durable while the exterior is coated in Corning's Gorilla Glass Victus Plus. The main display is a FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X with a variable refresh rate of up to 120Hz refresh rate. The device comes in 4 standard colors Bora Purple, Graphite, Pink Gold, and Blue. There are a lot more color combinations available with the Bespoke edition.
