You're likely encountering a behavior change in Android's sharing system. Here's why:
* Quick Share Prioritization: Google has been actively promoting Quick Share as a fast and convenient way to transfer files between nearby Android devices.
* Multiple File Sharing: When you select multiple files to share, the system might prioritize Quick Share as it's designed for efficient transfers of multiple items between compatible devices.
Possible Workarounds:
* Disable Quick Share Temporarily: You can temporarily disable Quick Share to see if other sharing options appear. However, this might not be a permanent solution as Quick Share is a core feature of modern Android.
* Use a Different Sharing Method:
* File Transfer Apps: Consider using file transfer apps like Files by Google or Send Anywhere, which offer more control over sharing options and destinations.
* Cloud Storage: Upload your files to a cloud service (like Google Drive, Dropbox, or OneDrive) and share the links with recipients.
* Provide Feedback to Google: Let Google know about your preference for more sharing options when selecting multiple files. You can provide feedback through the Google Feedback app or by contacting Google Support.
Note: The specific behavior and available options may vary depending on your Android version and device manufacturer.
I hope this explanation helps!
