Samsung galaxy f62

I just bought my samsung galaxy f62 from Samsung store app. Its been only two days. The phone gets heated up so much in normal usage of social media and download/update app from play store.

Also the battery drain is huge.

Please the users of f62 suggest me something to stop this. I bought this phone seeing the amazing specifications. But this heating and battery issue is too much.

Also whether future software updates will solve this issue?

The battery drain cannot be fixed, because it has Mongoose cores.

Samsung's custom made cores.

Mongoose department has been shut down by samsung due to terrible performance and battery backup in Exynos 990.

Heating and battery drain early on is bad. Keep phone in safe mode for a while like during sleeping hours. 

The device care and Google optimization apps are (poorly) calibrating phone usage. It takes 2 days for initial assessment.

Next day keep phone on power saving mode with 70% CPU usage.

Don't use sync for a while unless its necessary. Calibration is still on going process. It will adjust in a week's time.

I have documented my battery drain issue too and this is on Samsung to solve outstanding issues for so many f62 users.

I haven't had heating issue except the first day and for my usage pattern it had calibrated 5 days which I never got, and SOT is too low for the drain that has happened.

So you r not having heating issues anymore? And how did it calibrate and what is SOT?

No heating issues during use. Gets warm during charging which never happened before 1 week ago. It's a new symptom.

Can't say how it does it's calibration, it monitors (which means taking up CPU process for its inefficient algorithm) for days, noticed Google device personalization app which is replaced by a new name something like android intelligent services got updates, the battery drain improved and went back to its useless state.

There are Samsung services that run in spite of not being configured. Long story short, the rom is not optimized.

@Kevin9907 using f62 since 5 months.It is a rubbish phone launch by Samsung.I am facing internet issue without carrier aggregation support.it get heated up upto 45 degree while playing pubg.i had given an add on olx for selling it.
Hope I won't purchase any Samsung phone in future.

Sad to tell you m51 /f62 has major drain issues right from launch.
People aren't saying it because they don't know the difference . Seemingly it's because poor optimization, but samsung didn't correct it inspite of taking a lot of time. My m51 is 11 months old I only get 12hrs sot without gaming.
If the people were honest about the device review we wouldn't have bought these phones and wasted our money
