Facing huge battery draining issue after recent security patch update in samsung galaxy f23 5G. With power saving mode on battery draining fast in idle condition. Please is there any solution? My phone is 1 year 3 months old.

As per your concern, we want to inform you that the usage of the battery is different for every application, some apps consume more battery depending on the screen time, network fluctuation, refresh rate, etc. Kindly perform the following steps to resolve your issue by using the given links.

You can reset your device by following the steps.
1. Kindly create a data backup of your device via the SMART switch mobile application or http://www.samsung.com/in/support/smartswitch pc suite.
2. Remember the Google password before resetting the device because it is required during initial setup.
3. If you do not remember then advise to reset (Forgot password) his/her Google account.

Path: Settings> General Management.>Reset>Temporary cloud backup or External storage backup>After backup tab on Factory data reset to reset your device to its factory default settings.
This will erase all data, including files and downloaded apps.

In case the issue still occurs, kindly report the problems with a log file. To share a log file, click on the Samsung Members Application (Open Samsung Members Application > Support> Tap on error report > Type your query > Send).

It was fine in one ui 6.0. Battery draining started after 6.1 update. Now it's more after updated to August security patch update. I think update is the reason for more battery draining.
