click the app and go to details and just firce stop then delete all data and cache.. ur app will be chnged to the factory app then re update it.. ur problem is solved thanks me later

But by deleting all data all messages will be erased... And i dont want that... I have also erased all cache but still its not working

force stop message app Nd then clear cache.. problem solved..

Take a backup of your messages by using Samsung Switch and transfer the contents to other phone or PC then erase data and cache of the messaging app. In this way your messages are not lost
