Samsung please make the fingerprint scanner faster and not only it is slow but it's not even recognising my fingerprint after trying it for 6-7 times then it unlocks otherwise I have to open it through pattern . and by the way iam using c9 pro. and for your information Samsung iam covering my whole finger on scanner . and yet it is not working.

Same problem but worse experience on ma A7 2016 regarding fingerprint

The Actual Problem Is The Sensor Itself. Some Cheap China Made Handsets Are Providing A Great Quality Sensors Where As Samsung Is Cheating Their Customers By Fitting Some Third Class Fingerprint Sensors Which Don't Even Recognise Like They're In A Dead Sleep.

- Navigate to apps >> Settings >> Apps >> Tap on three dots >> Reset app preferences.
- Please run your device in safe mode.
- Please do reset your device on factory mode after taking the data backup Via Smart switch.
