Happy that many devices od M series got UI2.0 update with Andriod 10 why your team is leavimg A series for April 2020. What is go technically advanced in this product that it will rake your team 4 months to send an update.

Will my next phone be a Samsung: NO
Reasons: worst update cycle

No😬, don't think it in that way, Samsung has been quick to release updates. As per their upgrade schedule all flagships and M20 and M30 devices were supposed to receive update in January. But Samsung has already started rolling out update for them. That means you can expect updates in A series by the end of Feb or March, I don't think so you will have to wait till April.

If you have been following closely, just 2 weeks ago, Samsung started beta testing for M20 and M30 devices. Also M series devices will only get basic improvements unlike A series and flagships, some features will not be present in M series devices. Be glad, at least you will still have more than them.

correction here, m series received One UI CORE version which is different from One UI. Core version contains just the basics of One UI. There's no new feature and apps in one ui core version

agree what you shared, however Samsung update cycle is slow compared to others. They may send Andriod 10 update a month early. Well its okay. be it 9 or 10. How much it matters

@MKJha you may be right about slow update cycle but based on receiving update today, I'll say it improved a lot as compared to Pie and Oreo update schedule and it'll improve further more in future.

You have to take note that its the one with in screen fingerprint sensor. The rest are the traditional ones, maybe thats why they are deliberately making sure they dont mess it up again like the last security update. Maybe.

could be. while Samsung launches new phones and already discontinued A50 little worried about regular updates. still i like my device and waiting like many others

on screen figure print scanner was also one of the reasons why i bought A50
