system using 9gb internal storage

i am using A5 and have 16gb of internal storage out of which "user data" is only 6GB and still phone shows "system/user data" is 15.6GB.

why is system using 9GB of storage and how to reduce this space.

Are you using a Phone first time?

If you want more space then you can use Custom ROM. It'll use 2/3 gb max.
