my samsung a31 is lagging - certain apps take a second to open and the some of the onscreen animations are also glitchy 😔 does anyone have a fix for this? and please don't send me to the developer options ... been there, done that and it didn't work
Closing apps slows your phone because the next time you open an app that was closed it takes a huge on the CPU, never close apps leave them open all the time s, so that they'll open faster when reopening them.

Put your device on safe mode. Safe Mode is when your phone is returned to its default settings, so that you can find out if a third party application is causing your device to run slow, reset or just run slow in general. This does not delete any information on your device.
When Safe Mode is active, you will see "Safe Mode" appear in the bottom left corner of your screen.
Power off your device.
Power on your device.
When the Samsung logo appears by itself, press and hold the Volume down key.
The device will switch on in Safe mode. "Safe mode" will be displayed on the bottom left of the screen.
