"Link to Windows" sometimes inverts the numpad

Hi,

Sometimes when I use the link to windows feature to cast my phone screen to my pc and use my physical keyboard's numpad to enter numbers to my phone, the numbers won't type at all. But if I turn the numlock off and then start typing numbers then it works. I don't face this problem often. Is anyone else facing this same issue. Please let me know what to do if my numpad is inverted.

Actually it's not a issue but when numlock is on physical keyboards number keys get LOCK they won't work , on the other hand when numlock is off the number keys on physical keyboards get UNLOCKED . This is all windows software features not issue 😀

No actually try turning on numlock on physical keyboard and type numbers from numpad on your pc(in any pc software say notepad). You can type numbers then. If you type numbers(in notepad) with numlock turned off you won't be able to. This is the way windows works. But in phone apps sometimes it works the other way around. Sometimes the numbers from numpad won't type when numlock is turned on and other times it works the opposite way.

Android and Windows both have some features which don't go hand in hand because finally both are having different types of ui design and shell environment. And link to windows has some effects on Android beacouse a lots of features are recent developments and will take time getting stable.

May be mobile register the physical keyboard as num lock off by default

If thats the case sometimes when I connect the mobile with numlock off and then turn the numlock on then it should work right. But it is not working.

Then it is inverting it like you mentioned. Give feedback to devs.
