proximity sensor blinking in A71

Hi Samsung Members,

Recently i bought samsung A71 and what i am facing issues is like proximity sesnor is blinking on calls and when i had visited service centre they are telling its common thing for infinity o display screen. 

So guyz anyone who is using A71 please confirm whether this is the same case in your device as well??

I m telling you this happens on my phone. It is same for all phones. It keeps blinking while in call

It's annoying.  You should be able to toggle it on or off.

Proximity sensor will blink in calls to work as expected. This is in every Samsung phone. It's working as designed, no need to worry. Please accept this as a solution by clicking 3 dot menu to accept as solution

It is a problem for me.  I can't use my phone for 2 step verification while on it. I can't turn on speaker.  It locks screen and the back button doesn't unlock it. First discovered this with Samsung customer support. Had to end call to see code. NOT ACCEPTABLE.

I'm using the A71 and the same thing happens to my phone too. It's the proximity sensor that's blinking and it's a normal thing, it's not an issue. It only blinks when I'm making a call. It doesn't happen when I'm using the speaker or my headphones.

This is how I was able to turn it off.  Call your cell phone. Turn on speaker. Mine went to voice mail, so no big deal. End call. Proximity light stopped. Samsung needs a software update to add a toggle on/off for the proximity sensor under phone settings.
