Samsung Galaxy A7 2017 will not have Android P. Samsung phones basically have only 2 software updates besides the one they came with.

Galaxy A7 2017 came with Android 6 (Marshmallow) it's then updated to Android 7(Nougat) and currently 8(Oreo). so it will stay on Oreo.

Advisebly u upgrade to another latest Galaxy to enjoy latest features.
