my phone is on slow charging and won't go past 55%

on Sunday evening, the 28th of July, my phone has been slow charging and has said it will take 8-10 hours to charge. this has never happened.

I did let a friend with an iphone 15 use my phone charger. could that be the reason my phone won't charge? 

please let me know cause I'm stressing and I don't know if I should get a type C charger block and use the original cable the phone came with.

Restart your phone then Go to settings > battery >charging settings and enable fast charging and superfast charging then try again and you should use original samsung charger because other charger can damage your phone charging port and possibly board as well

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused following the recent OS update. To enable the fast-charge or fast wireless charge feature for Galaxy mobile devices, please follow the steps below:

1. Go to Settings > Device Care.
2. Tap on the Battery icon.
3. Tap the Charging menu.
4. Select one of the charging modes below, based on the type of authorized fast charger you have:
- Fast charging: Enable this mode if you are using the Adaptive fast wired charger.
- Super fast charging: Enable this mode if you are using a wired Super fast charger.
- Fast wireless charging: Enable this mode if you are using a fast wireless charging pad.

To enable any one of the charging modes, simply tap the switch to the right side.

You are unable to use the fast charging feature or the super fast charging feature when you charge the battery using a standard battery charger. To use the fast charging feature, you must use a wired battery charger that supports Adaptive fast charging. To use the super fast charging feature, you must use a wired USB PD (Power Delivery) charger that supports super fast charging.
