settings>device care>battery>app power management>sleeping apps. There you can select apps which you want to sleep. Unselected apps will work in back ground and that will give you notification and alerts.
Please perform the below mentioned steps to resolve the issue:
1. Kindly follow the standard charging procedure. i.e please charge the device in switch off condition for a minimum of 10 minutes.
