dont be curious to update your device wait for others to test it and then install it and if the problem is software is big then visit a service center and roll back to previous updates
try to register fingerprint carefully with clean and dry finger and try also clearing cache data in recovery mode it will be helpful for you... i am also facing same issue but after 7-8 attempts finally registered my fingerprints
