Hey I'm using a Samsung galaxy a40 and I'm from Asian region is it a problem do I get the updates that I'm supposed to get?

I think this will be a problem with updates. You can try alternate methods. But I don't know about those methods because I haven't tried them.

Updates are late not cause we are asians but because we're Sri lankens here in Local Samsung members community ☹😧

I bought my device from Sri Lanka. If I migrate to another country I will not get any updates. This is the problem why M30 users didn't get Android 10. Their device region is India 🇮🇳.

I know most of manufacturers try to impress and give the best to American and European people while charging same as for us .
Actually for them manufactures chase and beg on em to buy their products
while here we beg for their products
They dont need us.
(This can only be seen in Asian manufacturers....(most don't value their home ..not Korea)
but Menufactures in those countries try for whole world...{AP..NO..MO }

Samsung only gives quarterly updates (updates every 4 months)for A-series phones except Samsung Galaxy A50
