Is there a way to make the sensor respond better. Such an annoying thing.it takes 3-4 attempts at the same position for the sensor to work..worst sensor across all phones including basic entry level phone

Try adding the most used finger twice. This is an old school technique that will improve the recognition.

Register only one finger in different positions and angles. Most scanners have failure rate about 3-5%. But if you register 3 same finger, the chance that at least one of them doesn't match up with the finger you place on the scanner is about 1%.

1. enable touch sensitivity
2. remove all fingerprint data
3. then scan your fingerprint again
4. disable screen translation effect that is worked on my Galaxy a50

the sensor reads the fingerprint from the second applicable after unlocking it first time with the pin. don't know what testing n QC Samsung did.

I need to press hard for the sensor to work slightly better. nothing wrong with the sensitivity but this useless sensor is that way. Samsung failed on the finger print sensor.
