Android 12 based ONE UI 4.0

Most of the users have the question, that my phone will receive Android 12 update or not?

See, there is a simple mathematics,for all Galaxy A, M and F series, the firmware or software update limit provided is upto 2 subsequent Android updates (or say 2 years) and security patch updates is for 3 years.

For Example, A50s was launched with Android 9 so it will receive only two software updates that is Android 10 and Android 11 only after that it's limit is reached for receiving any other subsequent updates (like Android 12, 13, etc.) In case of security patch updates, it will receive for 3 subsequent years from the date it launched, A50s was launched in 2019, so it will receive security updates till 2022 only. 

Now let's talk aboutGalaxy S, Note and Z series, in their case, just Add up 1 year more to both the updates,firmware for 3 subsq. years or3 Android updates andsecurity patch for 4 subsq. years.

So, it is easy to Check, isn't it? ✔🙂

BUY ITS UNFAIR FOR A50s NOT TO GIVE ANDROID 12 BECAUSE IT LAUNCHED AT LAST QUARTER OF 2019 WITH ANDROID 9 BUT WITHIN 6 MONTHS RECEIVED ANDROUD 10 AND THEN 11 SO 9 WAS USLESS TO GIVE AND IT SHOULD GET ANDROID 12 TO BE JUSTIFIED.
BECAUSE WHAT WILL BE THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A50 AND A50S.

ACCORDING TO SAMSUNG POLICY THEY WILL GIVE US MAJOR OS UPDATES TILL 2 YEARS THEREFORE FROM 2019 LAST QUARTER TO 2022 1 QUARTER AND ANDROID 12 IS ALREADY RELEASED AND ACCORDING TO THAT THEY SHOULD GIVE US IN 2021 LAST QUARTER OR 2022 1 QUARTER.
BUT AS I SAID SAMSUNG THE ARROGANT COMPANY IS ARROGANT MAY BE THEY DON'T GIVE US BUT THEY SHOULD. AND IF THEY DON'T GIVE US ANDROID 12 ITS MY LAST SAMSUNG DEVICE.

Then you should go for Apple (that provides more than 3 major OS updates) or samsung flagship phones, S, Note or Z series, they receive 3 major os updates and 4 security patch, but all the series other than of above three series, receives only 2. It is clearly stated by samsung!! So you must see the updates policy of any phone that you are going to buy in the near future, every brand has its own policy, for instance, Realme provide only 1 major OS Update.
