Why does Samsung does this?

I don't get it why they sell a phone under the best feature as camera when they offer better camera sensor at low megapixel to flagship phones.

I am saying my brother's s9 clicks far better pics in all light and focal distances than my A7 2018. S9 has 12mp single camera and A7 2018 has 24+8+5mp cameras.

S9 is supposed to be performance oriented and camera too but not better than A7 or A9 as they are sold for camera and have a higer rather double megapixel hardware than s9.

Cameras now a days with dual triple quad cameras perform better only after learning a bit about manual controls.

Automatic processing will always be better in flagships.

manual control in samsung is very limited compared to other companies. only ISO change is actually manual(only 4 ISO's) in manual mode.... no exposure, no shutter speed, no focus distance

Sorry, pro mode camera app for A7 seems supporting only white balance and ISO.

You can see if gcam port helps or some third party camera app (heard few xda guys like some third party camera apps for A7 which misses wide angle though)

It's not the pixel count , but the camera sensor decide the quality of photos..
