Why Proximity Sensor is off by default in my A30s

Hello Everyone i checked my some sensors of my device A30s & i found that Proximity sensor is off by default so i turned it on

So my question is that why samsung has turned off the Proximity sensor

I don't know about a30s if normal one is present or not

Turn it ON then. But even if it's Off the sensing still works, you can try that in a call.

Maybe its OFF and turns ON when there is actually a need like 'Call' and 'accidental touch protection'.
