Galaxy A
Hello,
I’m using a Samsung Galaxy A72, and recently I’ve started facing a serious issue with the display panel.
Initially, whenever I gently pressed the lower edge of the screen (just below the fingerprint icon), a white line would appear, extending upward. At first, it was just one line and it would disappear after a moment. However, now the issue has worsened — multiple white lines appear, and sometimes they don’t go away, even when I stop pressing.
Today, one white line has become permanently visible on the screen, and pressing the display sometimes reduces it temporarily, but not always. I’m worried the screen is getting worse over time.
Can anyone from the Samsung support team or community:
Confirm what kind of issue this is (LCD/AMOLED panel damage or internal strip fault)?
Tell me if this can be repaired without replacing the entire display?
Suggest whether I should visit a Samsung service center, and if this issue is common in A72?
Please advise. I would really appreciate your help.
Thank you
