Use USB as storage device

Hi All. I have a Samsung A32 and have a Samsung adapter/connector to connect a USB storage device to my Samsung.

However, it always shows as 'charging device'. When I click on other options, it says the usb is controlled by the device it's connected to. When I try to change this to use my phone as the 'controlling device', it just jumps back.

Under that there is a list of options, it is ticked at the 'use as storage device' option, however, all those options at the bottom are not changeable at all.

I've tried four different USBs now and they all do thr same.

Is this OTG? This is what I'm using.

Hi CindyL. You have to enable developer options in your settings menu. After that you enter developer options and find the usb debug toggle. This video should help. https://youtu.be/IniHBt6eJ8k

Hi, unfortunately I don't own a A32 so I can't tinker with it to try figure it out. I search youtube and that helps a lot mostly.
