Usb-c to usb-c charging

I use a 20W adapter with a usbc to usbc cable to charge my samsung A16, but a few days ago it stopped charging whenever I plug it in. However it works completely fine with a normal type c cable in the same adapter

Is Someone facing the same issue? Pls help
