UPDATES On my phone

Hey everyone! Hope everybody is doing well

I wanna know why my samsung A51 is not getting any updates since August 2023 ? (One UI version: 5.1)

It was the last major update for A51.
Now only 2 updates will be released for A51 half yearly.

But why?

A51 launched in dec 2019 with Android 10 with a policy that this device will get 3 major updates (Android 11, 12 and 13).
So Android 13 was the last major software update for Galaxy A51.

Every mobile comes with a policy that it will get this much updates and then no further software update will be released for that mobile.
Still you will get 2 security updates, but no major update.

According to Samsung, OS support for the A51 is now complete.

Should I change my phone ?

The A51 is an older model and may not meet your current needs. If your budget allows, I recommend considering a newer phone, particularly one from the "S" series.
