I am using my type C cable to charge my Samsung A71 from laptop but it is showing no usb connection. I mean I am not able to transfer files from phone to laptop through usb or share my phone's internet with laptop via usb tethering. Please help.

Is that cable is original samsung cable.. and another thing does the laptop type c support flash c file transfer support or is it only for charging...please check these 3

It is original Samsung cable.
I was able to share my internet lr transfer files via this cable till few months back but it suddenly stopped working
