Title: Urgent: WhatsApp Earpiece Bug / Manufacturing Fault in Galaxy A36 Description: "Hi Samsung Community, I am using the Samsung Galaxy A36, and I've encountered a consistent manufacturing fault that needs immediate attention. The Issue: When listening to WhatsApp voice messages through the earpiece, the first message plays correctly. However, the second message automatically switches to the loudspeaker while the phone is still against my ear. This is a major privacy concern and is very frustrating in public places. I have verified this on multiple A36 units, and the fault exists in every single one. It seems to be a synchronization issue between the software and the proximity sensor. Please investigate this and release a software patch to fix this bug as soon as possible. Has anyone else with an A36 experienced the same thing?"

Hello

Can you explain few more details ?

It seems when you start whatsapp voice message THEN as when you keep phone near your ear, it must be touching and activating speaker.

"Hello, thanks for your reply. It’s not just about the phone touching the ear. I have tested this on other A36 unit. The problem is that the first voice note plays correctly through the earpiece, but as soon as the second one starts automatically, it switches to the loudspeaker, even if the phone is kept steadily against the ear. This confirms it’s a synchronization issue between the software and the proximity sensor during continuous playback."

Good that you have tested this throughly.

Now one more question - can you check IF same happens with other whatsapp like apps ?

Thank you for contacting Samsung and for sharing the details of the issue you experienced on your Galaxy A36.

We understand your concern regarding the behavior while listening to WhatsApp voice messages through the earpiece. As this involves a third party application, we recommend ensuring that both the device software and the WhatsApp application are updated to the latest available versions through Settings > Software update > Download and install and through the application store. You may also try restarting the device and testing the behavior again.

If the issue still persists afterwards, we recommend contacting the application provider for further assistance, as the behavior may be related to the application itself.
