Software Update Duration of A50S

for how long Galaxy A50S will receive software updates including security updates?

iirc it was launched in September 2019 with Android 9. i have heard that it has received Android 10 update.

i want to know whether it will get Android 11 update also?

For how much time, it will get Android Security Updates - 2 years from launch or 3 years?

yes it will get android 11 as well as security update till 3 yrs

i have checked a lot on samsung website but it is not mentioned any where and i am hearing in different groups and even from a samsung cafe owner that it will only get up to 2 years only. thanks.

no android update is of 2yr and security patches for 1 yr more

you can't say only 2 years because mist of the budget smartphone gets only a year of update.... according to samsung you should get 3 years.... just wait and watch

thanks but i can't wait n watch as i need to buy a phone for someone in family today so it can be A50S or F41 or something else.

if security updates are for 3 years then it means still 2 years updates are to come so the model can be easily / safely used for 1-2 years at least.
