1. If you mean the screen timeout setting is changing:

That’s the setting for how long the screen stays on when inactive.

🛠 Possible causes & fixes:

Battery Saver mode: This can reduce screen timeout to save power.

Fix: Go to Settings > Battery and device care > Battery, and check if Power saving mode is on. Try turning it off.


Bedtime/Focus Modes (Digital Wellbeing): These modes can change screen behavior at certain times.

Fix: Go to Settings > Modes and Routines > Sleep or Focus Mode, and see if screen timeout is being adjusted there.


Bixby Routines or Modes and Routines app: These can automatically change screen timeout based on time, location, etc.

Fix: Go to Settings > Modes and Routines > Check if a routine is active that alters display settings.

2. If you mean the Screen Time statistics vary:

If you're looking at Digital Wellbeing > Screen time, and the numbers change each day, that’s normal.

It just reflects how long you've used your screen per day — it resets daily.

To see detailed stats, go to Settings > Digital Wellbeing & parental controls > Dashboard.
