Screen flashing 😟ptical scanner !ssue!!

I had previously posted a problem with my A52 regarding screen flash after on display fingerprint use from sleep even when animation is off and its with many A as well as s20 fe scanners refer to reddit , are you facing same issue?

It is not a problem the optical fingerprint scanner needs light to scan. The newer ultrasonic doesn't want it.

How come the same fingerprint scanner works from AOD screen with low brightness ?

I have A52(6/128gb) variant., i haven't face any problem,

The reddit post is 9 months old and the problem is still there ..so it looks like Samsung has no plan to fix this.. I have now turned off fingerprint scanner.. going old way with pin or pattern.. my next device should not be Samsung device (specially not with Optical fingerprint scanner)..

I am using it like s6 times, i not using via always on mode

Same here ..and it's a shame for Samsung.. better they should have gone for side mounted physical scanner..

Only silver lining is turning off the fingerprint will save about 5% battery..

Update - you can try with fingerprint always on (with tap to show may be).. issue not happening so far..
