"These applications come just a couple of months after Samsung filed names for the 2020 A-series phones"

Samsung seems to have registered names for its 2021 Galaxy A-series mid-range phones. It has applied for trademarks for a total of nine new Galaxy A series devices with the European Union and these include A12, A22, A32, A42, A52, A62, A72, and A92. Though the trademark application doesn't include 'Galaxy', their description determines that these are indeed smartphones. Notably, these applications come just a couple of months after Samsung filed names for the 2020 A-series phones. The company is currently said to be working on the 2020 A-series phones, including the Galaxy A51, Galaxy A71, and Galaxy A91

As for the Samsung Galaxy A51, Galaxy A71, and Galaxy A91 smartphones, they are expected to launch sometime in 2020 and run on Android 10 with One UI 2.0 skin on top.  The Galaxy A91 for India is actively in development and is rumoured to run Android 9.0. However, it is unlikely that Samsung would launch the phone with an older Android version in the country. It is said to have SM-A915F model number and would come with the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC and 45W fast-charging technology. Moreover, the handset is said to pack 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage that is further expandable up to 512GB via microSD card.

The Samsung Galaxy A91 is rumoured to sport a 6.7-inch full-HD+ Infinity-U display and rock triple rear camera setup with 48MP sensor leading the pack with OIS. The handset is also said to come with a 12MP secondary wide-angle lens and a 5MP depth sensor. There is a 32MP unit on the front for selfies. Since we already know most of the specifications of the Galaxy A91, it should go official before the end of this year. However, the rest of the A-series will see the light in the day next-year.
