I think it's your Matte screen protector's fault.
As it's an optical fingerprint scanner so the matte finish of the screen protector is not letting the scanner to scan your fingerprint properly which is leading the unlock process to be delayed.

You should buy a screen protector which supports in display fingerprint scanner.

Then do the following.....

1. Settings > Display > Turn on Touch Sensitivity

2. Settings > Biometrics and Security > More biometric settings > Turn off Transition Effect

3. Settings > Apps > 3 dots at top right corner > Special Access > Optimise Battery Usage > Search "com.samsung..biometrics" > Turn off

You will feel significantly faster unlock.
