Try adjusting the camera settings. Specifically, disabling the "Scene optimizer" or switching to "Minimum" in "Intelligent optimization" might help

This is normal behavior, not a fault. Here’s why:

50MP mode uses a fixed sensor ratio (4:3). When you switch to Full screen view (20:9), the camera app stretches the preview to fill your display. To do that, it automatically crops the top and bottom of the 50MP image.

That’s why you see the auto-crop effect — the full 50MP resolution only works in 4:3 mode, not in full screen.

How to fix / avoid it:

1. Open Camera → Aspect ratio → Select 4:3 (50MP) → now you’ll capture the full resolution without cropping.

2. If you want full screen photos, use 12MP (4:3 → Full) mode — this gives a wider field of view but lower resolution.

3. For social media or daily use, full screen mode is fine. For best clarity and detail, always stick with 4:3 (50MP).

So it’s not a bug in your Galaxy A56 5G, it’s just how Samsung handles aspect ratio vs. resolution.

It didn't help at all. Why isn't Samsung fixing it?

Yeah, I also noticed that—the August update was packed with bugs. 🐛
