1. Samsung Galaxy A55 is facing network issues after August update including internet and calling
The device is repeatedly switching to 4G even though the 5G network is proper
2. After this update, the device automatically goes into fully mute mode. You have to go to the settings and turn off mute all sound.

You can make it disable in setting>connection>mobile network >network operator. And make scan automatically disable.

Dear Samsung Member,

Greetings from Samsung Customer Support!

As per your concern, we want to inform you the mobile network service provider will improve 5G network quality through expanded coverage. 5G devices may consume more battery and generate more heat compared to LTE devices, especially when using high-power applications for extended periods. When a 5G device heats up, the algorithm may limit its performance and switch the network signal to 4G to prevent overheating.

In this case, please wait for the device to get cool down for a while and then use the device again. If the 5G device gets cooled down to a specific temperature, the device will connect to the 5G network again.

As per your concern, kindly visit this mentioned link to resolve your Galaxy device network issue: https://www.samsung.com/in/support/mobile-devices/samsung-galaxy-smartphone-how-to-optimise-network-...

Galaxy device sound issue: Clear app cache through Device care:
Settings > Device care > Storage > CLEAN NOW.

The clear cache memory of a particular application:
Settings > Apps > Now pick the app that you like to clear off the cache memory > Storage > Clear Cache.

Reset the device Settings: Settings > General Management > Reset settings>Reset all settings to their default.

Disconnect anything plugged into the headphone jack like, a selfie stick, headphones, Bluetooth, etc.
Remove any third-party case, protective films, or any other accessory that usually comes in contact with your device.

Check device volume settings: Tap on Settings > Sound & vibration>Volume > Drag the volume adjustment bar left or right to increase or decrease the device volume.
To verify, play music and check the music sound. If the sound quality is good, then your speaker is working fine.

If the issue still occurs, kindly report the problems using a log file. To share a log file, click on the Samsung Members Application (Open Samsung Members Application > Support> Tap on error report > Type your query > Send).

Warm Regards,
Samsung Customer Support

thanks for your reply
Sir whenever the network switches to 4G the speed is not even as good as 2G
Apart from this, we have other 4G devices which are still providing great speed.
After the last update, I am facing issues in calling Samsung A55. Even after having network in the mobile, I am not able to receive or make calls. This condition happens at least once a day.
