Hi Mfana_Lokishi78
Yes — I’ve heard of Samsung SOS+. It’s a new emergency-response service Samsung rolled out in South Africa in partnership with AURA.

If you have a compatible Galaxy A-series phone, I can show you how to activate it. First I’ll explain what it is & then the steps.

---

What is Samsung SOS+

SOS+ is an emergency assistance / panic-button style service that ties your phone to private security and medical responders via AURA.

It uses your live location, can dispatch the closest responder, lets you track their arrival, and also has toll-free contact options.

It’s available (in South Africa) for certain Galaxy A-series phones (e.g. Galaxy A26, A36, A56) as a “launch offer.”

For new eligible devices bought within the offer period you get 12 months free access.

---

Which Devices & Eligibility

From what I found:

It’s tied to Galaxy A26, A36, A56 (at least in South Africa)

The offer period is limited: devices bought during a specified period get 12-month free access.

It may be available only in certain regions (SA).

If your phone isn’t one of the eligible Galaxy A-series models, or wasn't bought during the claim period, it might not be available / free for you.

How To Activate / Set Up SOS+

If you have a compatible phone & are eligible, follow these steps:

1. Ensure your phone is activated & up-to-date

Setup the device fully.

Make sure all software / firmware / One UI & security updates are installed.

2. Open the Samsung Members app

Download or open Samsung Members (from Galaxy Store or Google Play).

Make sure you’re signed in / registered there.

3. Find the SOS+ benefit banner / offer

In the Samsung Members app go to the Benefits section.

There should be a promotional banner like “Galaxy A-series Samsung SOS+ Launch Offer” or “Samsung SOS+ provided by AURA.”

4. Register for SOS+ via that banner

Tap Register Now (or the equivalent) in the banner.

Accept terms & conditions (AURA’s terms) as needed.

5. Complete onboarding & save details

Follow the guided on-boarding steps.

After registration you’ll be given the toll-free SOS+ number & you may be asked to download the SOS+ app.

Save the SOS+ toll-free number for emergencies.

6. Test / Use the service when needed

In an emergency you can either dial the toll-free number or use the SOS+ app.

The service may ask you to choose “Security” or “Medical” via IVR (interactive voice response).

You can also test the connection / service.

Take note that the Samsung SOS+ service is not automatically available on all Samsung phones. Its part of a promotion for certain Galaxy A-Series models.
