A couple of days ago, Samsung started to roll out the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update for Galaxy A72 smartphones. Initially, the update was released for Russian customers, and now Samsung Galaxy A72 users in Europe can also get access to the major Android 13 One UI 5.0 update.
The Korean company is rolling out this big update with lots of new features including the Per-app language to let you use different applications in different languages, Notification permission to provide you more control over your phone’s notifications and Extract text that will let you copy text directly form images or screenshots.
In addition to these, the One UI 5.0 software also brings the ability to disable the RAM Plus feature so that you can take full advantage of your phone’s memory, the Stack Widgets to provide you an easier way to add and create widgets stack, customizable Camera Watermark, Lockdown mode, and many more.
The latest update further improves the Color Palette feature, it now not only applies to third-party app icons but also offers you 16 themes to choose from. The Single Take feature, Notes app, Bixby, Samsung Internet, Edge panels, Samsung DeX, and many other apps and functions are also getting notable changes through the update.
Aside from these, the major update also brings new and bolder app icons, smoother animation, faster performance, and various user interface tweaks including revamped Quick settings panel and Notification panel. There are multiple changes in the Settings app, Wallpaper and Style section, and Lock Screen as well.
On the other flip, the fresh software update installs the outdated October 2022 security patch for the Galaxy A72 devices, whereas, other devices in the market are gaining December 2022 patch.
